HomeSight, a community development corporation with nearly 30 years of experience, is leading the way forward with the Othello Square development, a welcoming gateway center in the heart of the Othello neighborhood. HomeSight has been creating affordable residential communities since 1991. HomeSight has provided homebuyer counseling and purchase assistance programs for countless families, as well as developing housing for first-time buyers in Central and Southeast Seattle. HomeSight remains committed to promoting social and economic equity, preserving and enhancing economically and culturally diverse communities and offering opportunities for those vulnerable to being priced out of their neighborhoods.

 

HomeSight has engaged over 10,000 prospective homeowners in the past three decades resulting in 3,500 new first-time homeowners and the development of 462 affordable ownership units in the Pacific Northwest region.

 

Profits are reinvested directly back into the community, emphasizing the organization's commitment to its clients and their neighborhoods. Our community development projects have rejuvenated neighborhoods and business districts, generating over $200 million in economic benefits for local communities.
